purpose of magnetic tape used as a storage medium?
I can see how things have progressed in recent years ... for be honest with you we just do not have a better way at a time ... we knew lasers .... did not even exist in any form and a CD was a bank run .... things were just as good as it got with the tape .. or at least we thought so .. I bought the first optical disc in East Texas .. He was given 750 meg and a rewritable disc with the player now has $ 1,250.00 with SD I can get more than 4 gig om a double DVD and know what's around the corner ... from an old computer junkie E ,,,,,
